How much is a cord of firewood?
We do not sell firewood by the cord, we sell it by the pound.
The varying weight of a cord of wood has been between 2900-3300 pounds, depending on the wood.
What is the size of the cuts?
The wood is processed into 16″ cuts, the machine is currently set for this size. We do not adjust the machine to accommodate different cut sizes at this time.
Do I need to set up a time or call before coming to local pick up?
It is a first come, first serve basis
It is a great idea to give us a heads up in case we have any issues and do not have what you are looking for.
We will try to keep our site, as well as our Facebook updated.
Please keep this in mind as we are servicing those within our community and they could be your neighbors!
Does someone need to be present for a delivery?
There must be someone available at the delivery address to inspect firewood for approval before it is unloaded at location.
What form of payments do you accept?
We accept Cash, Check, and Credit for forms of payment. Credit cards will be charged 3% .

What is your delivery charge?
Starts at $75 a load and increases according to mile distance from The Yard’s office
How does local pickup work?
Stop by the office to be weighed before heading back to the wood pile to be loaded.
You are welcome to hand load or we can load you!

Then come see us in the office for payment!
Do I have to leave my trailer to be loaded?
There is no need to leave your trailer to load, we load trailers and trucks on arrival
It is best to call ahead of time if you are wanting a large trailer or truck loaded
